Mark E. Berch
President, Service Finance
Mark Berch is the founder and President of Service Finance Company, ECN Capital’s Home Improvement Finance business vertical.
Prior to founding Service Finance Company, Mr. Berch spent more than 20 years as a principal founder and operator in several home improvement companies. In 1983, he co-founded San Diego Carpet Care, growing it from one location in Southern California to sixteen locations operating in five states. He later founded International Chemical and Supply, a specialty formulator of carpet cleaning chemicals for the flooring industry. Mr. Berch co-founded a home security company growing the business to become one of the premier providers of home security systems in the state of California, Georgia and Illinois. He was a co-founder and President of United Restoration, LLC an HVAC company that operated forty seven locations in seventeen states and served approximately seven hundred thousand customers annually.
Mr. Berch is a member of the executive advisory board of the National Association of Professionally Accredited Contractors (NAPAC). He resides in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife and two daughters.

Ian Berch is the Chief Operating Officer of Service Finance, ECN Capital’s Home Improvement Finance business vertical.
Mr. Berch was a co-founder of United Restoration, LLC and acted as the Chief Operating Officer. He was responsible for administration, development of corporate policy and compliance, and assisted Mark Berch in the day-to-day operations of the Company. Prior to joining the Company in 1997, he was the President of Superior Security Systems where he ran the administrative division and was responsible for training, hiring and vendor credit. Prior to that, he founded Satisfaction Carpet Care, and operated in five states with six branches that provided carpet, upholstery and drapery cleaning services to residential customers.
